On the SOLO – ” This pedal worked really well by itself, but I loved it in front of an overdrive pedal.  I wasn’t anticipating using the “Scoop” control much, but used carefully in conjunction with the “Filter” control it helped brighten up the sound, especially with humbuckers.  I liked how the knobs really interacted with each other.  I found great usable tones on each of the three clipping settings (although for my style, I found the “Hot” setting was almost always my favorite).  Once I dialed it in, this pedal easily beat the distortion pedal I’ve been using for the last year (and kicked that pedal off my pedalboard!).  This is a pedal that wonderfully repays the amount of attention you put into finding the perfect sound.  Like all of the other pedals, this is built like a tank – it’ll probably outlive me!” ~ Chris Miroslaw, Lead Guitar, Dooley Noted
